About Us

Felix Thomson Company was established in 1951 in Fort Smith Arkansas as a home improvement store specializing in windows, awnings, and insulation. In 1971 we also began bidding and selling finish hardware, hollow metal, wood doors, and specialty items to meet the division 8 and 10 needs of the commercial construction industry. The company was bought by Eddie George and Jim Fisk in 1977, and the home improvement materials were phased out with the exception of insulation making our main focus division 8 and 10. To help with this focus an in house locksmith and hollow metal shop were established allowing us to be innovative leaders in the industry. A second branch was opened in Springdale Arkansas in 1980 to help meet the growing needs of our customers. This was the beginning model of what Felix Thomson Company is today.

In 1999, Mike Verucchi bought the company bringing on an additional owner, Greg Welton, in 2003 whom have made it their mission to continually improve and expand the company through education and a commitment to be the best. In 2011 a third branch was opened in Tulsa Oklahoma helping Felix Thomson to be the leading distributors in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and the surrounding areas.

In October of 2023, Greg Welton purchased the shares for the Tulsa branch and re-branded the company as FTO but remained a sister company to Felix Thomson who continue to work together.

In January of 2024, Mike Verucchi sold Felix Thomson Company to Vincent Verucchi and Jordan Wallace and is still serving on the board as C.E.O.. Vincent and Jordan are continuing the legacy of Felix Thomson and are striving to push the market and solidify their foot hold in the areas that the company has thrived in.
